The KDT KI-B55ST80A-i70TSLM is an 8 MP IP surveillance camera from the Smart Titanium Series. It uses a 1/2.8-inch Sony progressive-scan CMOS sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The camera is built around a dual-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor running at 900 MHz and is designed for network video surveillance applications that require high-resolution imaging and smart event analysis.
A 2.7-13.5 mm F1.6 motorized fast autofocus lens provides a wide adjustable field of view. The data sheet specifies horizontal coverage from 112 to 36 degrees, vertical coverage from 58 to 20 degrees, and diagonal coverage from 129 to 39 degrees. Minimum illumination is rated at 0.001 lux in color with AGC enabled and 0 lux in black-and-white mode when IR illumination is active.
For night surveillance, the camera provides Smart IR with an indicated range of 70-80 m using SMD infrared technology, together with Smart White Light. Image processing features include 120 dB WDR/DWDR, 2D/3D DNR, BLC, HLC, ROI, Defog and electronic image stabilization (EIS). Video compression includes Ultra H.264+, Ultra H.265+ and MJPEG, with triple-stream transmission.
The camera supports a set of 14 smart functions including line crossing, area intrusion, region entrance and exit, fast movement, loitering, blurred-image detection, scene-change detection, face detection, audio exception detection, crossing-line statistics, smart people counting, crowd-density monitoring and heat mapping. ONVIF version 2.6 Profiles S, G and T are listed for interoperability with compatible video systems.
Connectivity includes a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port, PoE, DC input, external audio input/output, internal microphone, alarm input/output and a microSD/SDHC/SDXC slot supporting cards up to 256 GB with ANR support. The enclosure is rated IP67 and IK10 with 6 kV surge protection. The specified operating range is -30 to +60 degrees C, and the product data sheet lists a 5-year Gold Guarantee.
