The Hikvision DS-2CD2143G2-I is a 4 MP AcuSense fixed dome network camera designed for general-purpose indoor and outdoor video surveillance. It uses a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS image sensor and delivers a maximum resolution of 2688 x 1520 pixels. Hikvision AcuSense deep-learning technology focuses event classification on human and vehicle targets to improve alarm relevance in supported detection scenarios.
The camera is available with a fixed 2.8 mm or 4 mm lens, both with an F1.6 aperture. The 2.8 mm version provides a 103° horizontal, 55° vertical and 122° diagonal field of view, while the 4 mm version provides 84° horizontal, 45° vertical and 100° diagonal coverage. Minimum illumination is specified at 0.005 lux in color with F1.6 and AGC enabled, and 0 lux in black-and-white mode when IR illumination is active.
For night surveillance, the DS-2CD2143G2-I provides Smart Supplement Light using 850 nm infrared LEDs with a range of up to 30 m. Image processing includes 120 dB WDR, BLC, HLC and 3D DNR. Video compression supports H.265, H.264, H.264+ and H.265+ on the main stream, with MJPEG supported on the sub-stream. At 60 Hz the main stream reaches up to 30 fps at 2688 x 1520, while 50 Hz operation supports up to 25 fps at the same resolution.
Smart event functions include motion detection with human and vehicle target classification, video tampering alarm, line crossing detection, intrusion detection and face detection. For system integration, the camera supports Open Network Video Interface Profiles S and G, ISAPI and SDK. Network recording can use NAS via NFS or SMB/CIFS, and the camera also supports Auto Network Replenishment (ANR).
The camera includes one 10/100 Mbps self-adaptive RJ45 Ethernet interface, built-in microSD storage support up to 512 GB, and a reset key. Power can be supplied by 12 VDC or IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 3. The enclosure is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance and IK10 for vandal resistance. Operating and startup conditions are specified from -30 to +60 °C with humidity up to 95% non-condensing. The data sheet lists the device weight at approximately 530 g.
