The AXIS M3125-LVE is an AI-powered 2 MP turret-style dome network camera designed for flexible indoor and outdoor surveillance. It uses a 1/2.8-inch progressive scan RGB CMOS image sensor and provides a maximum video resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The camera integrates a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) and comes with AXIS Object Analytics for edge-based detection, classification, tracking and counting of humans and vehicles.
The camera uses a fixed 2.9 mm F2.0 lens with M12 mount, fixed iris and IR correction. Its field of view is 110° horizontally and 60° vertically, with a minimum focus distance of 0.5 m. Minimum illumination is specified at 0.15 lux in color and 0.03 lux in black-and-white at 50 IRE, while infrared illumination enables operation at 0 lux. Camera adjustment supports pan ±180°, tilt from 0 to 60° and rotation ±95°.
For low-light and night surveillance, AXIS M3125-LVE combines Lightfinder, WDR and OptimizedIR. The built-in 850 nm IR illumination has a stated reach of 20 m or more depending on the scene. Video compression supports H.264 Main and High Profiles, H.265 Main Profile and Motion JPEG, with Axis Zipstream technology available for H.264 and H.265. The camera supports up to 50/60 fps with H.264 and H.265 at all listed resolutions, together with multiple individually configurable video streams.
AXIS Object Analytics supports human and vehicle classification with scenarios including line crossing, object in area, time in area, crossline counting, occupancy in area, motion in area and motion line crossing. The camera also includes AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Image Health Analytics, AXIS Live Privacy Shield, AXIS Video Motion Detection and active tampering alarm. Integration is supported through VAPIX, metadata, AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) and ONVIF Profiles G, M, S and T.
The camera uses a 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX RJ45 network interface with Power over Ethernet according to IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1 Class 3. Typical power consumption is 3.7 W and maximum consumption is 10.5 W. It supports microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards plus recording to network-attached storage. The enclosure is rated IP66, IK08 and NEMA 4X. The overview specifies an operating temperature range from -30 to +50 °C, and the listed device weight is 390 g.
